That’s One Old Der Dul

So it has been brought to our attention that Charles Darwin’s pet tortoise recently passed away. While our favorite awesomely bearded evolutionary theorist didn’t make it to see the 20th century, his dear Galapagatian (?) tortoise Harriet made it to the ripe old age of 176.
Quite the traveler, Harriet was originally from the Galapagos Islands, but spent most of her 176 years on Earth at the Australia Zoo near Brisbane, giving children rides. Thank god cats don’t live that long, I can only imagine how senile they would become after hitting the century mark.
