So the first thing that one should know before compiling a year-end top 10 list is that it is VERY easy to get carried away. You may have noticed that we at SOAP never make lists (I didn’t like High Fidelity…kill me -Bosley). When you examine our top 10 list below, you’ll understand why.

DISCLAIMER: This list is comprised of songs that have moved us in one way or another. Some of these songs we danced our asses off to at the club. Some of these songs we listened to while falling asleep. Some while driving. Some while working. Some we played out. Some we played in. Maybe now you can see the inherent difficulty with making lists. There’s no experimental control, no method of calibration. But rest assured, we didn’t take it too seriously. There are definitely some songs on this list that deserve to be higher. Likewise, there are tracks that we probably overrated. If you have an issue with our list, fuck off send us comments. Let us know how bad our musical taste is. And don’t sugarcoat it. We can take it…we’re big boys.
