It Came From The Thing: Newcleus

Newcleus - Let’s Jam

It’s pretty ridiculous what is getting passed off as “electro” these days. Granted, it is just a general term that I, myself, have been guilty of tossing around. But for all of those who would like a nice little history lesson in true electro, look no farther than Brooklyn’s own, Newcleus. This particular track, Let’s Jam, was released in 1985 and was a follow up to the now classic Jam On Revenge (The Wikki-Wikki Song). I personally enjoy the B side dub a little more, but for the sake of posting a Newcleus track, I felt like I needed to include the vocals. Welcome to the true school.
