Morgan Geist played this weekend but it was kinda raining and kinda $20, so we didn’t go. BUT, I did pick up this white label promo of his 2001 EP, Crash Tracks Vol. 2, which was eventually released on Metamorphic Recordings. While I’m not crazy about the EP as a whole, I do enjoy Gone Fishin’ the first track on the B side. Think hill-billies in Chicago circa 1994.
