How awesome would’ve it been to grow up in Chicago? Instead of listening to Raffi or We Sing Silly Songs in the carpool on the way to Kindergarten we could just switch on WBMX, WGCI, or B96 and hear Chip E AKA The Godfather of House Music droppin’ the classics! Although I suppose they wouldn’t have been classics yet…But you get my point.
